The Bi-Laws of Fingerboarding
Bi-Laws are like rules in a way. But they are really just what the sport does and does not stand for.
1. Only one sponsor per product. 2. You are not Certified Professional unless you fingerboard for a Skateboard Company. 3. 3 Fingers is for beginners. 2 Fingers is for Professionals. But it doesn't matter if you have the skill.
4. Fingerboarding should look like skateboarding in the most realistic way. No ten foot ollies. No 900 flips. According to grinds, anythings possible.
5. Don't land with your palms. We know what looks stupid and unskillful.
6. No sticky fingers wax. No cheating. That's not fingerboarding. It's just nonsense.
7. Use griptape on your fingerboard. It's not a real fingerboard if you don't use griptape. Skateboards have them. This is Mini-Skateboarding. Hence you use griptape.
8. Contests are to be held in one spot. Not through videos, because you can tape for hours and then have five good minutes of footage. Thats not skill its Luck.
9. Any team that sponsors must send out products or else, they are just a phony. Nothing.
10. There are no rules to fingerboarding. You know what the sport stands for and doesn't stand for. Using your thumb to ollie, isn't and ollie. If that has to be a rule, then you people don't get it.
11. If you are a Professional fingerboarder, and you don't skateboard, then you cannot fingerboard without a "diploma".
